NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Diss definitely hurt him, but Can-I-Bus being mid was the nail in the coffin. :francis:

Already having heard most of the album before it dropped didn't help either. :snoop:
The diss didn't hurt him being that alotta people felt he won. That battle wasn't some sweep. On top of that. Canibus wasn't established yet. He didn't drop his first solo yet. His first solo ended up being dirt. If it was fire. He would've been fine.

Shawty Lo had three songs in heavy rotation in 2008: Dey Know, Foolish, Done Done. After "What's Up, What's Happenin" crickets. People were laughing at making jokes about Shawty Lo. Now that he's passed away, people want to act like they were team Lo knowing they laughed about pretty much everything he did after Units In The City. People laughed about him signing to G Unit and laughed about the reality show.
Sorry bro, I’m from Atlanta and this is not true. It had absolutely nothing to do with TI song. TI a rapper and Lo a street legend. Nobody disrespected him cuz of TI. In fact people thought it exposed TI and he lost. Didn’t even matter what song was better at that point. when he shot that video in front of Bankhead, people was talking about how much security he had with him. So Lo had everybody looking at TI as a fake gangster for the first time. Atlanta never looked at TI the same. That’s not a L. Shawty just wasn’t coming out with good new music
