This sums up everything you have to say. :mjpls:

So black people pointing out unfair hiring practices and discrimination in the workplace is "complaining"? Pointing out the unfair advantage whites have in black media is "complaining"?

People like you are so transparent you might as well be a window.

"Can you black people just shut up about racism and just accept it?"

why are you taking this outta context. why are you bringing up "can black people shut up about racism and accept it" when i never fukking said that. thats another discussion that has nothing to do with this.

you really think idk these white folks is racists out here? that racism doesnt exists, the inequality in american society between blacks and whites? mannnn, smh. Im not even gonna get into that, cuz i dont have to prove my expiriences with racism to you. You just another nikka talking out ya azz without looking at the bigger picture thats right in front of you. Its aiight man, cuz you cant see it, so i aint mad at you. People hate what they cant understand its part of the game and i know that so ill never trip.

This the situation at hand, some poster on here is shytting on complex, whinning and complaining that a white owned company isnt giving black people jobs. Thats what this whole shyt is about. That shyt is dumb as fukk man. Since when have white people just give shyt to black people just because, when? You out here waiting for white people to give you opportunities you gonna starve, never evolve in your lifetime, never accomplish shyt, never reach your full potential, never get to where you wanna get, be who you wanna be, do what you wanna do, how you wanna do it when you wanna do it.

Im still asking yall to name these black platforms that are putting in major work like complex that cant get ahead because theyre a black platform. Like please name them, post links to their content, their facebook, twitter, ig, and youtube.

My thing is yall spending all this time spewing all this hate, negativity, etc. When black people can get together like white people do and create their own shyt. The only thing thats stopping black people from getting together and building their own shyt at this point is black people, is mothafukkaz like yall who love to put all your energy and use your 24 hrs in day to spew hate and negativity instead of trying to adopt more positivity and a big picture perspective.

Reason i respect mothafcukaz like master p, too short, tech n9ne, etc. Is cuz they came from the mud, made no excuses, came from having nothing and came out here and got it. They were visionaries with relentless drive who created their own path to sucess when they had no opportunities and opportunities were not given to them. I respect people like combat jack for creating his own podcast network and signing people like taxstone, charlamagne, etc and steadily evolving and getting hotter as a platform and as a network.

yall mothafukkaz really wanna be out here spending ya time complaining about shyt. Ya really wanna work for these "white folks" that dont fukk with yall anyways, ya wanna work for vice and noisey knowing they only hire white people with high education backgrounds lmaoo, and ya wanna fukking complain, gtfoh man lol. that shyt is retarded, im sorry man.

you know how white people do shyt, they get together as white people and just do it, even if they need to start in their dad's garage, these white people get to fukkin gether and just do it. Sarah handles social media, Seth does graphic designing, Larry does the videoagraphy, Bob and Mark are the authoritated mastermind business guys and they just fukking do it, one day at a time, create something of quality with amazing presentation until they get there, slowly grow and theyre able to expand in all aspects. Now im not saying this is the case for complex and vice or noisey or whatever the fukk, obviously they had a way better start. But if you research some independent white companies or how some of these white companies even started youll see what the fukk im talking about.

This shyt is not easy, i know and i get that. But shyt my nikka nothing in this world is. It wasnt easy for yall mothers to pushing yall big headed ass mothafukkaz out here p*ssy but she did it anyway cuz she mothafukkin had to.

yall really wanna change shyt, you gotta start with yourself first as a person and leave the bullshyt and negativity behind and focus on positivity. Elevate your mind game, get your faith up and fukk with the universe.

you got this one life and one life only, yall wanna spend it complaining than actually doing something than go ahead, but your never gonna get ahead and thats real shyt. Instead of promoting the bullshyt and the politricks of the game, promote positivity, encourage brothers to get together and create. The shyt is not easy, but if you want change, you want black representation, you need to work for it on your own, you need to be relentless with your drive and focus to make this shyt happen, and you need to be on point on top of your game making sure your product and what your providing is top notch and that fishscale.

its 2017 man, its time to see the bigger picture and evolve in the game of life. Leave bullshyt behind and go hard with yours.

Maybe its time to stop begging to be part of something that only wants to use us. Maybe we should stop giving interviews and content to these culture vulture sites. Complex and their ilk want to cover and co-opt blacc culture but not to hire blacc ppl....ok...well we wont give u material to get that ad money...cover your own shyt

I fukks with this, yall want change this is another alternative. But if we want to boycott these platforms for lack of black representation in job opportunities, we need to have own shyt poppin and have our product be as good or better than theirs.

Reality: No black artists is gonna give up the opportunity to get covered by these prominent platforms. Not if we dont have our own shyt like we did when we had the source.

But i agree, more sucessful black artists should be working with complex, vice, noisey, etc. To bring in black representation to the company, they should be more involved in that aspect. Thats a great way to give back.

Imagine guys like kanye, jayz, nas, drake, cole leaders of this culture taking the initiative to make sure theres more black representation in these companys they have major influence over. Im not the nikka to tell another grown man what to do, but it would be dope to see them set up some type of program, where they assist graduates of theyre foundations for example the Sean Carter foundation that pays college tution for students, assist those graduates and alumnis of theyre foundation get opportunities with companys like complex, noisey, vice, etc.
In a perfect world that would happen, but thats not really reality and they not about to do that. So thats why im so adiment about us encouraging eachother to start our own shyt and stop the complainin and leave the bullshyt behind and create our own lane.

And shout out to Nas for mass appeal, amazing, dope, refreshing, authenic, and quality presentation platform, that once again, I never see ya nikkaz talk about, post, or support. Its like some of yall rather hate 24-7 instead of doing something different and supporting a black owned platform thats just as good as complex, vice, noisey, etc. and has potential to be better.

I get what you'er trying to say, homie.

We need our own shyt independent from White folks and we gotta be dedicated as artists to make that shyt happen and we gotta be dedicated as fans to support that shyt.

Begging whitey aint what's hot in the streets for 2017.

We just gotta stop supporting these culture vultures to make that shyt happen too because they distort our reality as Black folks.

It'd be dope if dudes started posting Black writers and Black platforms we can support in this thread too

You dont give a fukk that magazines/websites that heavily feature black artists and cover black culture heavily have next to no black people on their staff?

That's cool. These people figured out a long time ago that all you need to do is trot out some black faces for black people to ignore the racism within their own companies. Obviously you fell for the Okey doke.

The majority of us on this forum have not.
Yea lets be honest if it were black owned the content would look a lot different and you crabs would be hating on it and calling them c00ns for various stupid reasons "why they gotta cover chiraq like that, c00ns", cacs aren't constraint and thus they move freely and can push out content without a care in the world, no one is going to send goons at Thomas like they did Char. Black owners have to go through loads of scrutiny, just look at the difference between Dj Akadamiks, young black man doing his thing, over a million subscribers and got ran off from the site. Name a big name that don't get shytted on, even problacks like Tariq get scrutinised.

Thisis50 was neck and neck with Vlad for awhile, who's fault is it, that Vlad surpassed them by having better content and being consistent? You're going to blame these cacs for having work ethics, that's not how capitalism works.

Also, who is stopping black editors and online mags from covering EDM? Why not dip into the white audience? Because black people like to box themselves in or don't want to be considered a c00n for listening to techno despite the fact that blacks created the damn genre. Footwork is dying but cacs in europe picked it up now you've got Planet Mu signing artists, who stopped Bad Boy from doing it? Who stopped them from opening a subdivision for house, trap, dubstep, footwork artists? Who stopped them from picking up black artists in chicago and detriot and dominating the edm scene in europe? THEY THEMSELVES.

i dont give a fukk, i been fukking with complex for almost 10 years. Theyre impact on internet culture is dope, they put the work on it to get to where they at. Thyre what xxl, the source should of transitioned in. They been putting out quality content and presentation for the past 8 or 9 years man. Stop the fukkin hate.

I fukks with Vice and what they do. They got quality shyt. Not only just about rap, but they cover many cultures.

fukk is you guys talking about.
:francis: @Sagat this jjevans poster maybe a c00n, but he right in this post. What Complex is right now is what Vibe & XXL should've done.
