Bad shoulder. Incline's more stress on the joint. shyt I only do 315 on flat like every 3 weeks or so just to make sure I'm still good. I really stick to 275.
you should be able to jump to 225 no problem if you been doin that for the last couple weeks. who adds 5lbs? you not even gonna feel a difference. At the very least do 205.
when i first started lifting (4 years ago) I went from barely benching 100 to 225 in about 8 weeks. Not too long after that (maybe a couple more months) I was at 315. But I stopped benching heavy a while ago. I just do 225 for reps , some pushups and keep it moving.
