you should be able to jump to 225 no problem if you been doin that for the last couple weeks. who adds 5lbs? you not even gonna feel a difference. At the very least do 205.

when i first started lifting (4 years ago) I went from barely benching 100 to 225 in about 8 weeks. Not too long after that (maybe a couple more months) I was at 315. But I stopped benching heavy a while ago. I just do 225 for reps , some pushups and keep it moving.

I found in the past I really stall out if I had weight too fast. I see what you are saying, but if I try to push it too fast I will be doing 210 for bullshyt reps and be stuck on it forever.

How much for Dumbbells would march 315 and 225?

Allegedly, :whoa:

(Barbell x 90%)/2 = dumbbell per hand

So 225 = 100's

315 = 140's

hypothetically

Yea,I think it will depend on the person.

But if I can remember correctly the first time I hit the 100's,I could rep 225 for about 3 or 4

First time I hit 315 I was repping the 130's for about 8

That's just me tho

I hit it earlier this year accidentally. I could've hit it long ago if I had actually been focused on it. I put up 315 on incline as well, but my shoulders are pretty strong so...:manny:

I'm always between "cutting" and "bulking" so I've never actually set out to lift heavy, it just sort of happened.

When I hit a "bulking" phase, I see myself getting to 315 sets on flat and incline. Then again, it depends on physique and how I look and perform so who knows. :yeshrug:
