Damn good player, one of my favorites. And yes, a legend too but most people don't seem to get that there are levels/degrees to everything.

Reggie Miller is underrated

I trust your judgement usually but to me it seems like he was irrelevant until those Knicks series...and during the time he played he had MJ, Drexler, Dumars, Mitch and I want to say someone else...

To me he was the same level of player cj McCollum or brad Beal are now...he wasn’t a stellar defender or scorer but an outstanding shooter but sometimes I think who was the focal point him or Smits...Reggie Miller is one player who would thrive in today’s game.

He was pretty much Klay/Brad Beal/CJ McCollum

They hype him up more to act like he was a real road block for Jordan. Once all the goons from the 80s were finished, Reggie and NYK was all Jordan had to beat. The teams were so spread out that it was easy :yeshrug:
Did you watch him play or are you doing your usual whore for numbers routine:jbhmm:

Y'all dudes have to remember that almost all of Reggie's points came in the halfcourt (very rarely did he get points in transition since he didn't control the ball), it's unfair to compare him to guards/wings who had the luxury of scoring a larger portion of their points on the break, or on defensive breakdowns.

After a great post damn near worthy of a rep, you write this shyt

These nikkax can’t appreciate the gravity of what “Miller Time” was..When it came to clutch shot making in the 90s it was Mike...then Reg. He had wirey strength that allowed him to wrestle away from defenders trying to prevent him from running around those screens and his conditioning was incredible. You have guys like Korver who do it now as well as Rich Hamilton years ago but the idea behind the pounding, grabbing and pulling was it would weigh on you eventually no differently than consistent jabs would on a boxer.

Reggie was that nikka
Hawks tried to use Kyle like Reggie but Reggie off the ball ability was next level elite like Steph's. Reggie was fast without the ball, that and his stamina was monstrous as well. That's why my comparison for Steph was Reggie Miller with some PG skills. Crazy is Steph became so much greater than that in the NBA. A testament to his drive and work ethic

Took the 98 Jordan's Bulls team to 7 games. That alone should tell you how good he was.

nikkas saying he overrated is tripping. Put Reggie in this era and he'd still be an All Star. Windshield wiper on offense, off them screens like Klay and Rip.
