Yea to this day it's hilarious to glorify a regular season blowout 10 games into the season as "proof" of what would happen 72 games and 1 playoff round later

Imagine if we used that logic for this season.


And at the end of the day, Indiana had the same flaws as Detroit: shytty rough offense and no superstar go-to player. They'd be in the same hell Detroit was in vs Miami/San Antonio, and would be just as likely to lose to Detroit in 6 games again since the Pistons played much better in the playoffs than they did throughout the '05 regular season.
