My bad, nikka. I saw it wrong. It was sandwiched between 2 other 20+ point seasons.

Also, since you're being picky about it, he played 54 games, not 50, or 52 like you've claimed.

And DWade was a #2 option that year so those are great numbers.

I just posted that to prove to you that he wasn't washed, as you claimed. Injured, sure. Washed, no.

Plus he had a Prime C. Bosh as well. I'm not saying his numbers don't count. But he had more help than Reggie

Reggie had quite a bit of help, but the comparison was to MJ, not Reggie.

@CHICAGO was trying to claim that Reggie was better than Klay based on TS% (which Reggie is better at solely because he flopped to more free throws), but then was trying to avoid the same comparison between LeBron and MJ by claiming that those are "superteam" numbers and they don't count.

If D-Wade's 54 games in the 2014 season were so spectacular that it inflated LeBron's shooting numbers, I wonder why Scottie's prime doesn't invalidate MJ's numbers the same way? :jbhmm:

Reggie was a great player. He wasn't an all time player, but he was great

Yes I'd take Clyde and Mitch over him at the 2, but that's no knock on him

One of the best shooters if not the best I'd seen before this current era, dude was clutch as fukk too

Absolutely he is a Hall of Famer, no question to me

Although he was one dimensional he did have playoff success and if it wasn't for Jordan probably would have seen multiple finals apperances instead of just one.

If you want the best idea of what Reggie Miller was about, look at his playoff performances throughout his prime (and well into his thirties). His scoring increased considerably but it didn't come at the cost of the way Indiana's offense normally operated. He was elite at a couple things (intangibles are hard to quantify but Reggie shines here), good at others, and mediocre in some other aspects. But overall Reggie was legit, and he was legit for a really long time.

I'd say Clyde was still a cut above him individually even though he didn't look up when he dribbled. :lolbron:

Youtube clips and wikipedia stats is where brehs is making their arguments :snoop:

Reggie was a great player, plain and simple
If only Reggie had one real star next to him, just one and he could had toppled the bulls or the lakers, Reggies overmatched teams steadily brought that pressure in the playoffs and won games.:beli:

Pacers was always overmatched, the perpetual underdog. Brehs do not understand how hard and great it was for Miller to stand toe to toe against Jordans Bulls and the Knicks

that 98 team that took Chicago to 7 games was loaded though. I've said before and I say again, Reggie is better than Klay

Oh and don't go to TS%....You just making the case that Lebron is better than MJ :russ: Especially with MJ never taking 3's to bring down his FG% :russ: Bron Bron would be shooting 63% from FG playing like MJ :russ:

Brons not even better than shaq or duncan

Overrated. Definitely not a first ballot Hall of Famer. The Basketball HOF is easily the worst of the four sports because of how lax the requirements are to get in.
