When I run, I usually run for at least two to three miles at a time, so I'm usually pacing myself a little bit, but I average around 6 to 7 min miles. Sprints/jogging intervals, is one way to train your self to run faster.
During the recovering are you slow jogging, or can you walk?Sprint for a minute- or as long as you can top speed, then recover for a minute or so- repeat.
At the moment, 8:34. My best is 5:27. All on treadmill.
You can walk. Just don't walk for too long- don't completely recover. Eventually, you'll be able to do your interval training with jogging for 'active rest' rather than walking.During the recovering are you slow jogging, or can you walk?
One mile Is a little over 2000 steps it all depends on how fast your running... if I'm jogging It will probably take me 5 mins
You know a 5 minute mile is 12 on the treadmill right?
the world record is 3:43 but you can jog a 5 minute mile...
on topic though I'm between 6-7 if I'm running. did a 1/2 marathon earlier this year and just missed under 2 hours. Like 9:39 per for 13.1 miles
It'll probably take me at least 8 minutes to run a mile right now.. Probably closer to 9 really.... I've only ran a sub 7 mile maybe twice in my life... and that was in my teens and early 20s...
But fukk a mile.... What that 40 yard time or 100 time be?
I see yo ass ran by Mario's Italian Ice on the trip back. You not slick.I never run a single mile because it doesnt make me tired at all. I always do at least 5 miles. and I have a lingering bum hamstring still.
that being said, I can run 5-7 mile runs at a pace of about 8:40 per mile on a good day (not too windy or hot/humid outside or snow on the ground).
this is me yesterday:
