When he said that he would go to Bob Dylan before hip hop for emotional songs, that's how I knew he wasn't worth following. Everything I needed to know about him was right there.

I don't have anything against the people who work with him, but if he ever gets exposed on some overt :mjpls: shyt, I won't be surprised at all.

This sort of "Anti-Rap" attitude that permeates the mainstream is the weirdest shyt on the planet.

People will ape the swag of Hip-Hop, the style of dress, grooves (the whole musical landscape), rapping (the primary vocal performance of Hip-Hop), singing etc. of the genre but have that :mjpls: energy in
publications and make sure to throw on the Rockist view of popular music which focuses on Folk Music & Rock in all it's forms.

It's part of the reason I have that fukk Eric Clapton and old Blues Rock cats in general energy. :yeshrug:

I saw something about those fangs on Facebook recently and cats were acting like he’s the first person to ever get fronts like that.
yes & no

yes as far as the process of having whole stones cut & set that specific way

hell no to being the first to have his upper canine teeth capped/slugged

Cac used Rap music for his own financial benefit but turned his nose up at calling himself a rapper, refused to say black lives matter or speak on any black social issues, even verbally dissed hip hop culture to uplift a fellow Cac, and yet he’s still fully embraced by black artists and the community.

They were ruthless on Iggy Azaliea and quickly got her up outta here, where as Post Malone has been accepted despite saying just as much problematic shyt if not worse.

how?

um he makes great music that's why.. if iggy had consistent hits, she'd still be here

He’s this eras Eminem.

Em’s era required bars, this one requires melodies.

Post Malone also benefits from a certain segment of the population becoming more acclimated to Hip-Hop.

He's like Kid Rock on steroids.
Add in the support of the machine that wants him to succeed and well...yeah...

In a way he is worse than Kid Rock, seems like at the very earliest stages of his existence Kid Rock was into hip hop culture. He was spinning records and all.

Post on the other hand is from a wealthy family and used rap as a get rich quick scheme. Seem like he has a much higher ceiling as a pop artist bc of it

This is literally every white artist who does rap/r&b. And we fall for it every time
