How did a white guy create a more realistic portrayal of the hood than any black person in Hollywoo?

50 Cent’s shyt is basically late night Soap Operas. Their not going for something even half way realistic.


A better comparison would be something like Snowfall. Which is VERY good.

Snowfall got a lot of bullshyt too though. Especially this last season, I had to quit watching as the writing just ...it just fell off terribly.

Access and opportunity? How many networks putting money behind a brother to do a realistic portrayal of the hood and the corrupt shyt that goes on with white politicians and corrupt police forces? Even the Wire had some issues where they weren't getting rating during the original airing and wasn't sure about possible cancellations of later season.

David Simon barely pulled it off and he has whiteness at his flank. A brother in the entertainment industry wasnt getting that shot in the late 1990's and could barely get it today.

Like when Omar walked in and robbed Prop Joe and everyone else was in there

He definitely would have got jumped on, even with the gun

And I didn't grow up on the east coast, but I thought the schools were almost too depressing and violent
