How did a white guy create a more realistic portrayal of the hood than any black person in Hollywoo?

Yea but why are 50 cents shows so unrealistic and hes a actual street nikka

1. 50 just provides some money and his name and lets the actual creative types do the heavy lifting.

2. Even if he cared enough to really get involved re: the creative side, I doubt whether he has the distance, honesty, self-awareness, to portray reality rather than a romanticized version. Rappers spend decades building entire identities based on nonsense and bullshyt, even under the best of circumstances. They've never cared about the truth before, why would they start now?

I feel you breh.
a lot of these shows have unrealistic shyt though, the difference is the better shows have a way of making the other significant elements such as plot, characters, cinematography, dialogue, pacing, etc....
much better than Power so the unrealistic parts don't stand out as bad. Example...For all the unrealistic shyt that has happened in Snowfall, nobody ever destroyed a whole mafia organization in a shoot out all by themself.
