Never try to get a raise. It's physically impossible for your boss to pay you more. The Earth would split asunder and swallow his business whole.

Ignore the raise he gave himself, that should have been hidden by the Invisible Hand, you were not supposed to see that.

almost nobody works for the absolute minimum wage for longer than a year :unimpressed:

its entry pay for an entry level job :unimpressed:

But a lot of people make less than 15/hr.

Federally mandating 15 dollars and hour makes no sense, let the states accommodate to their standards of living. :unimpressed:

California's cost of living is so outrageous it probably needs 18hr if were being honest :picard: the same cant be said for Wisconsin or Texas :yeshrug:

Theres a reason Walmart, amazon and other mega corporations are pushing for 15 nationally... Chess not checkers breh

Wrong. The states where workers are in the worst poverty are the same states run by the worst politicians. Fifteen everywhere, yesterday. And bump it to 16 next year.

$15 min wage is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard. How is it a victory when this will never pass the Senate? Is the hope that the Dems take the Senate and Presidency in 2020 while maintaining control in the House so that the bill can be signed?

What do you think the federal minimum wage should be? :unimpressed:
