2019 was a transition season for the conference

Giannis/Middleton/Brogdon/Blesoe/BroLo Bucks
Jimmy/Embiid/Ben/JJ/Tobias Sixers
Kyrie/JT/JB/Horford Celtics

There wasn't no East teams like that when DeRozan was over there stinkin it up wit Lowry. Those teams were way better than any other East team of that little era besides Bron/Kyrie/Love Cavs and even they would maybe lost to first 2. Bron in that 2nd Cavs run best player he played in Least was Playoff P :mjlol: he ain't have to see a Giannis or Embiid in playoff

Kyrie had already left Cavs in 2018. Bron wit just Love and role players gettin swept by 2019 Raptors. Bron never even had to deal wit a top 5 superstar in the Least when he was in that garbage conference besides 2011 when he played DRose wit Wade/Bosh on his side and in 09 against Dwight when he lost wit HCA.

Bron leavin conference had nothin to do wit 2019 Raptors winnin it all. Bron was doin shyt to that team. Matter fact Nurse Raptors was shyttin on Bron for a while since he could make adjustments unlike Casey. When LA won in 2020 they went 0-2 against Raptors only team they didn't beat that season.

That full GS squad was goin 6 games wit Lou Williams and Montrez Harrell :mjlol: blew 30pt leads and Warriors was actually bad at home that season they wasn't sweepin shyt. Their defense fell off in 2019.
A Toronto team with Kyle Lowry as it's 2nd best player was never going to beat LeBron in the playoffs in that era.

WOAT skin/hairline combo

Dude is a bum...weak mentality & hasn't improved his game since very early on

Toronto trading him was the best thing that ever happened for that franchise

And now he's ruining Keegan Murray's development & the Kings franchise altogether

Homey is straight garbage

Soft as baby shyt
just a weak ass nikka

I hope for his sake he don't see this thread yall going the fukk in :dead:

He’s just Lil’ Romeo’s best friend as far as I’m concerned. His best highlight:

His game is trash, he never put up a good fight against Lebron (basically conceded every playoff matchup), he let Kawhi come in and do what he couldn’t in one year, and he’s been a negative to just about every roster he’s been on.

Lavine or Beal off of the top of my head IMO. Beal was the #2 during those couple decent Wizards runs and he's been just woeful for the Suns, if we talking about impacting and not just scoring. Idk if Lavine has ever been a star tbh, he's just been paid like one and been mentioned in trade rumors every year like stars do, but I don't think he's actually...a star

Lavine is one of those players that looks like a star, acts like a star but when you go actually look at their game realize they are not actually a star. Being able to jump high and dunk will take you far I suppose
Him and Beal just happened to be in situations where they could shoot the ball to their hearts content. But it doesn't impact winning if that's all you can do and you aren't doing it with amazing efficiency.

🤣 like clockwork every time DeRozan is brought up people talk about how easy the East was for LeBron...

If it was that easy someone else woulda done it. The East has still been the inferior conference since Bron left and no one has done what he did...

DeRozan was wack because DeRozan is wack. Ain't got shyt to do with Bron other than sure, he did seem easily intimidated by Bron...

DeRozan just aint THAT and its ok. Some players put up points but aint THAT. His bread and butter being phased out didnt help matters either.

Adrian Dantley of his generation.
Naw thats disrespectful to AD. He was putting up KD numbers and winning scoring titles. He was the leading scorer on a squad that was a phantom foul away from a chip.

Nah, the East is WAYYYYYYY better than it was when LeBron was dominating it.

Just in the last 5 years, Giannis has become an ATG, peak Philly with Embiid & Ben Simmons (pre-meltdown), Brown & Tatum maturing in Boston to be HOFs, the big 3 in Brooklyn before their breakup, Cleveland post-LeBron has become formidable, Orlando is a lot better, The Knicks are a lot better than they were.

Even the Miami team with Butler he played in 2020 with AD on the Lakers is better than the teams LeBron was playing in the East, before.

The East was garbage from the late '90s-about 5 years ago.

The 2016 & 2017 Cavs would've dog walked any of those teams you listed except the '19 Raptors. That series goes to 6 games in '16, but '17 might be a win for Cleveland in 5.

I agree with just about everything else.

How would they dog walk the Sixers wit Jimmy and Embiid? Matter fact who the fukk on the Cavs guardin Embiid :russ: Kevin Love? Tristan Thompson? :deadrose:

They don't got a Marc Gasol who locked his ass up and Embiid had just sonned Jarrett Allen for a whole series who was a much better defender to guard him than anyone on Cleveland. And even wit Embiid gettin clamped by Marc that series went to literally last shot of game 7 tied

Man stop it the 2019 Sixers ain't like those bum ass Hawks, 5'7 Isaiah led Loston or Craptors teams :mjlol: they one of the best teams to ever not win a title shyt Jimmy went to finals next season wit a worse roster.

That startin lineup of Ben, JJ, Jimmy, Tobias, Embiid was a monster

The acquisition of Butler paid dividends for Philly, which obtained one of the NBA’s premiere late-game performers effectively on a whim. By the end of the 2018-19 regular season, the 76ers had a +41 point differential in clutch-time, the final five minutes of any game with the score within 5 points, per NBA Advanced Stats. Almost as an act of foreshadowing, Philly tied eventual champion Toronto in that category.

During the 2019 playoffs, the quintet of Embiid, Simmons, Butler, Redikk and Harris sported a net rating of 23.9, tied for third-best among 124 qualified lineups over the past two decades,1 according to NBA.com. In that span, only the Lakers (2007-08 to 2009-10) and Mavericks (2010-11) had more effective lineups en route to a combined three titles and four Finals appearances.

Actually more I think bout that matchup more I'm convinced Sixers beastin those nikkas in Cleveland. Ben was one of the best Kyrie defenders he gave him problems. Jimmy has competed, matched and outplayed LeBron in many playoff games on different rosters too in Chicago and Miami. And again they don't got a single nikka that could do anythin wit Embiid.
