You guys have gone overboard with the Demar hate and it’s getting corny. You don’t score the amount of points he did while being a bum or garbage . Comparing him to guys like Harrison Barnes and Danny Granger just shows how corny and goofy it has gotten.
If we gonna keep it a stack it’s Tracy Mcgrady,but nikkas was in high school when he was running around not doing shyt so he gets a pass.

If he was drafted 99.... His "peers" as in wings would been hittas like Kobe, TMac, VC, Pierce, Grant Hill, Ray, Arenas.... He not like that. Like Pacers Artest was a clearly better overall player than DeMar and he wasn't really seen as a superstar.

Nigguh you lost your mind. TMac carried every team that was his to the playoffs. At one point, He was the all time Leading scorer for ppg in the postseason . TMac did it all and guarded there other teams best player. Don’t ever mention TMac and Demar in the same post again
one thing I've always disliked about DeMar was his absolute refusal to shoot 3s. Would literally put his foot on the line just so he wouldn't be credited for a 3 pt shot. Seen that way too many times for it to not be a coincidence

In basketball if you that nikka you determine the outcome of series . You don’t have to win chips but you should be more than capable of winning a damn playoff series ..if you that nikka.
TMAC repeatedly showed nikkas that he wasn’t that guy but he gets all types of capes thrown for him

In Houston in the later years he was injured but before that it was the same shyt.
If Tracy was that nikka like some nikkas like to pretend he was you win a playoff series before you’re 40. There is no excuse for that outside of injury .

No disrepect.....but many of the players/teams that you mentioned have a histoy of choking in the playoffs....How many times has Kyrie/Embiid/Milwaukee/Philly/Boston come up short over the last 5 year?...Boston just won it in 2024 after adding Porzingis.........Im sure if Lebron stayed in Cleveland the Cavs wouldve added players...

Absolutely, but sometimes you gotta adapt. You can't be letting a team go bombs away from 3 and you're answering by shooting long midrangers. Even LaMarcus Aldridge eventually adapted and shot 3s and even played center too

That not true. I don’t think pierce won a series before the big 3. He might’ve won 1 series with Walker but other than that his squads got bounced. Ray Allen only had one successful playoffs year in his first ten season before he finally got traded to Boston.
You need teammates. If Grant Hill doesn’t get injured, I’m pretty sure those early postseason failure have a different ending
I rmemeber the Rocket series. The Mavs from too to bottom were just a better squad. And JVG got outcoached in both the Dallas and Utah series. I wouldn’t even say otucoached, just outdated.

DeRozan was never a star. Yeah he could really dunk damn well but him being in Toronto market sort of made some of the basketball fans think like maybe he was a star.
A guy like Steve Francis didn't do shyt in the playoffs but he was more of a star in the league than DeRozan, as he had more swagger while getting points.
Nobody ever gave a fukk about DeMar outside of Toronto, and even that area is 50/50 on whether they should respect his contributions throughout those years or not. One conference finals appearance in a weak eastern conference. Oh well...

Truth and Antoine were playing in the conference finals in 2002. They lost in the second round in 2003.
