That was Cavill that announced it after his cameo in Black Adam. Rock was trying to make a power move but the movie didn't live up to box office expectations.

And about those movies... with all the shyt thats been going on, you think DC is gonna do a 180 and make good movies?
Nobody is on the same page in that studio.
I actually liked BVS and the Snyder cut. The rest of the movies are terrible and are getting worse and worse.

The Batman was a bit long but a good movie. But this version of batman... i dont see it in a universe. That movie was like The joker, not rly a comic book movie.

Yea....The Batman was good. Suicide Squad was also good. Peacemaker(series), is also a nice surprise. I didnt think Gunn could pull off a series on him......but he did. Everything that's been good recently from DC, ppl are still with the ship (Reeves) or captaining it (Gunn).

Aquaman/Mamoa are the casualties of this, but he may be Lobo.........so he will still may be with DC.

What?! Every Marvel movie and The Batman were top 10 grossing movies this year. Top Gun is an anomaly not likely duplicated.

Henry Cavill has one of the worst lucks when it comes to his career.....Was set to become new superman back in 2004 until the director dropped out and Bryan Singer came onboard and replaced him. Then he was the top choice to become the new Bond in Casino Royale....The director wanted him, but the producers wanted Daniel Craig. And now he leaves The Witcher.

He probably was like when Netflix told him they wanted to play Sherlock Holmes......then was like when they told him he would be playing as supporting to a 16 year old girl and focus on Enola Holmes.

I think that James Gunn is a Disney mole sent to destroy DC altogether, all the while the MCU post-Endgame quality has fallen off the cliff.

No, they cannot. In the Marvel world a mutant naturally has their powers emerge in puberty. Gaining powers as an adult is through magic or genetic enhancement, or a latent mutant getting them activated.

On top of this the whole point of X-Men is the characters growing as people alongside their abilities.
