That's a good point, but what if he doesn't?

He virtually has to have another great game this weekend because that Saints D is ass cheeks.

I`m just hoping the kid doesn't have some growing pains in December/January, that's what scares me. I wish he made this decision from day one.
I hear what you're saying but on the flip side what would you get with Smith in the game. You sound as if the remaining 5 games on the schedule are automatic wins with Smith at the helm. You've had Smith as the starter for 7 cotdamn years. The coach wanted Payton Manning. He didn't even want Smith as the starter for this season.

Bay Area.
Alright BRUH, you were in the stadium, your word is gospel.

Alex was 7/8 72 yards and a touchdown that day, that's definitely not getting it done.

Thank God we have have people like you who were there to play Nostradamus for us.

prob should have done this at the beginning of the year, but I sort of agree with the move.

Alex prob isn't the guy to rely on if you want to win.

These former QB's in positions of power in the NFL are always lookin' for that "gunslinger/spark" type QB and a quick way out of a bad or mediocre QB situation. Elway didn't even want Tebow on the team and dude went on a winning streak and won a playoff game for them last year. Harbaugh is on the same sh*t. He's probably sees Kap as a younger version of himself. Maybe a Singletary would keep Smith in as the starter but these former QB's, outside of an analyst position on tv, will always go for the guy that has a big arm, balls, and can make some plays. If Steve Young or Dilfer were a head coach or GM of a team they'd start Kap too. They all keep it PC when on the air as a color commentator or analyst

exactly.
its not like alex has anywhere to go or has grounds to make demands on.
he'll be a backup and if kaep fukks up to the point hes losing us games, we just go back to alex...it shouldnt be an issue until the start of next season.

and that's why I said its a ballsy move. There's a significant chance of failure. Its not a gimme regardless of how good he will be

theyre pretty different imo. besides the obvious mechanical differences, one thing is colin is a natural leader imo. alex is a quiet follower.
