The offense was more dynamic for one game, don't get too far ahead of yourself. Against the Rams the offense didn't look that dynamic at all.
if kapernick played that well against the bears d, i don't see how he doesn't have sucess against that wack saints d.
Come on bruh, you know if Alex didn't get hurt we would've lost that game.

Why?
Would Chicago's o-line be able to block Aldon Smith if Alex was QB?
We win that Bears game with Alex or Kaepernick. Bears were overwhelmed, the 49ers defense was out for blood that night
I was at that game and honestly the team didnt really come alive until kaep came in the game. You forget we looked totally helpless in the 1st quarter and by the middle of the 2nd we started showing signs of life. Truth be told I actually like alex but we knew it was gonna be this year or next that kaep got some run. You cant let a 2nd round qb rot on the bench. If anything, if smith gets another shot maybe he will not play so safe. With our d he can afford to be more risky with his throws. I think that's what it boils down to. Alex isnt terrible but we know what his ceiling is, and if kaep can improve on that then im all for it.
I'm talkin about the tie game.
The team came alive when Alex threw for the TD to Crabtree.
But that's not the point, I do believe that Kaep is the guy now, and after MNF I see why.
I just really dislike the timing, because he is essentially a rookie QB and a rookie QB is destined to have some growing pains, and there is 6 games left in the regular season and we have a half game lead on the first round bye.
To hand the keys to the guy at this point, it's just a huge risk. I wish Harbaugh just started him from day one
Bruh trust,I was there right off the 50. Alex just wasn't gettin it done that game.
Im completely with you on that. It's been building with how harbs used to work kaep in a few plays a game, eventually those wildcat plays were gonna lead to pass plays and he's had a couple. Problem is it looks worse than it really is because statistically alex looks good in every category but ypg and pass yds on the year. I dont think it's far fetched that kaep can match but he is probably more willing to attempt throws alex wont and avoid drive killing sacks. So to most it'll be either seen as a great or bad move. I at least think alex's production can be matched with maybe a few more explosive pass plays mixed in which maybe could have been the diff in the 2 games we lost imo.
Yeah, I think Kaep definitely provides the bigger, more explosive offense.
I also feel like he also could be liable to turning it over in some of those close games.
When you look at Kaep, his talent floors you. That MNF game made you think of the future and having a superstar QB.
It's just the timing, this time of the year, I don't feel exactly comfortable with a second year QB with 1 start commanding this team in January.
