I have been around military my entire life. Born an Army brat and I have worked for the DoD for almost 20 years. I have worked with people from all the branches.

Most black vets just joined for get that GI Bill and tuition assistance. But I've seen some that straight c00n it up...talking about "don't respect the flag that I fought under". Those were the exact words I heard from a black Master Sergeant when I was working at Fort Bragg.

They left some comment on a pic related to veterans day that was super c00nish. So I checked out their profiles. Breh im talking big BLACK ass n!ggas too. These n!ggas had pics of themselves in Iraq or wherever, no shirts on, with the CONFEDERATE FLAG draped around them, trying to pose like they were hard. And in the caption they went in on how they proudly rep the flag and that Blacks are ignorannand dont understand its true meaning and if any n!gga ever had a problem with it they would deal with that n!gga, etc etc.. Worst sh!t id seen in a looonng time.

Lots of negative things in here. But I respect the troops. No matter what reason they are fighting for. Whether they actually believe this is the greatest country on earth or they just want free housing food and other benefits. My brother knows what is. He knows the higher ups and the actual govt probably doesn't care about him. But he just didn't want to get stuck in a shytty town and didn't feel like school was the right choice for him.
