The only limiters that I have on horror movies is children - that’s a factor for me. And the repeated insensitive attempts by Hollywood to make light of black history and experiences by dramatizing that into a “fictional” situation, labeling those as “horror movies. Which is why “Them” and “Antebellum” were pure garbage fails which I didn’t bother checking for.

But outside of that, anyone else is fair game - Rescue personnel and Police can get got like everybody else- zero fuks to be had; expecting Michael Myers and Jason to be fair and rational.

People in this thread are taking this movie way too literally.

Go watch Halloween 2007 if you want more serious explanatory content. Writing out entire Halloween hypothesis for a horror movie that was not meant to be taken with a serious tone while ignoring the underlying content. Go watch the origin story Michael Myers then.
