Ain't nobody tryin to get indicted.
Not me. Sometimes I think I'm doing bad and then I read stats about black men my age I realize I'm doing exceptionally well.
It doesn't matter what other variables you put into that equation, once you add education the income goes up.
How do people even argue against it. If you get a Chemical engineering degree, that's an automatic $50k, and that's even if you get lowballed as a black man.
Major in something where you will earn money. The minds of our youth have been polluted and they do not value education en masse. If they did, they'd be dangerous. They just want to replicate what's on tv and in music.
Because they're in college with a part time job and live in a dorm or at home with your parents, since they included people aged 18-22, who don't earn full time income in the data.
If they took that age range out and made it the age 25+, that $15k number would go up a lot.
Black Americans are the most delusional group on Earth. Our women feel they deserve the spoils that CAC men provide their wives, yet we're worth a fraction of what their worth.
We're just a stunting / flossing / fronting people. We're broke is fukk. We imitate success, but we don't have much. Don't own and land or office bldgs.
We really need to get real. When you think everything is gravy you don't try and fix anything.
Right, it doesn't, but the odds of you earning higher income and helping your community and children are much higher if you do get a degree.Even if you get an engineering degree or a degree in a major that is actually worth something, you are still going to have to network to get a job and that can be hard if you are an introvert or anti-social. You also have to have a gpa above 3.0, otherwise most companies do not want anything to do with you if you just flat out apply online and choose not to network. What I am saying is that nothing in life is guaranteed. Just because you have a degree that is worth a damn, doesn’t mean that you will automatically get a job. You may have to humble yourself and get a low-paying job if you are having trouble getting a high paying job or a job you really want.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.As long as there are close to 50 million black people in this country, there will never be Universal Basic Income in America.
After your first job, nobody's cares or even ask about your GPA.That's another thing I wondered too. For people who do get degrees in stem, but have lower gpas, why would they get hired over someone with a higher gpa?
Is there any point in doing stem if you are barely passing ?
Why would anyone hire someone who barely passed over someone with a 3.0 and above ?
I want to make a time chart that shows how blacks Americans wealth position got to be where it is.I wouldn't be so sure about that.
We've already got Social Security, which is a form of UBI - just limited to old folks. That got pushed through by FDR in the 30s when the ruling class in this country faced a real threat of revolution because of how dire the economic situation had gotten for working people - white and black alike.
At that same time, we got a federal minimum wage, legal recognition of labor unions, regulations on working conditions, etc.
There's literally millions of black households that benefited from these policies. So many old heads that worked the line at GM, or at Ford, or at defense contractors, or in warehouses, as truck drivers, etc. that earned decent wages and were able to support their families as a result.
It's going to be a long, hard slog to make the necessary changes. But the first step is making sure that people have the facts about where they are now. Only then is it possible to have the conversation about potential solutions.
Why would CNAs die early?I don’t know what state your in, but in PA, CNAs make $25k and you can easily get into the $60ks with overtime. You will die in your 40s but atleast you can afford a home to leave your children.
There's a reason the focus is always on income...and not on wealth.who would have known coming from broke people means you're gonna be broke yourself.
Hate to be that dude but y'all not accounting for all the scammers, drug dealers and such. Most dudes I grew up with got more money than me and they not working any 9-5
