its a must watch even more than Flash

Anybody still watching marvel Shield ?

I dont think gotham is touching the flash, or arrow, let's be real

This show is introducing all these super villains with batman realistically 10 years away from surfacing

The writers are fukking themselves, cause what will this show end up being? Gordon is your main character and he's going to be taking losses every week against these characters

The only way this show can make it long term is if they do a time jump between seasons IMO

We gotta have batman season 3

Smallville went through the same struggle with when to let Supes fly..

plus putting Bats on screen would diminish Gordon and young Bruce even further

what they have to focus on is building up young Bruce to become a stronger character ..this last ep with him facing off with the board was a step in the right dierection

I don't know how they realistically write bullock and Gordon going against these super villains... The super villains aren't going to be killed off and can only escape from jail so many times... They will be taking losses every week

Ideally they won't actually go up against the villains since the majority of them shouldn't be costumed until Batman appears on the scene.

This show is gonna continue on that crime syndicate mafia route where Gordon fights the good fight and has his morals challenged while pimping in the background

The overrall success will be based on how creative they can get with the plot twists while staying true to Batman's origins and not confusing or offending the core fans

when youre dealing with a nikka who has super powers you can make up any shyt to cover up your writing flaws

Plus they're working backwards. Flash and Arrow have an easier time because they just have to adapt stuff that currently exists. On Gotham you're extrapolating backwards and trying to create things from the ground up knowing full well what the future holds

This show is going to be incredibly difficult to write... It can be done but I don't envy the challenge they have ahead of them
