The first 3 chapters are slow and I felt like the game wasn't clicking with me either then A combination of figuring out the combat, and the story picking up made that game go from a 6 to a 8/9 for me

i never thought i'd say a game has TOO much to do. they always start off fun, then by 20-30 hours in, i've got 100 things to do, can't remember why i'm doing any of them, and still have 50% of the map to explore. i know that's a lot of open world games, but they OD with it. i can't keep up with all that shyt and that's the only open world series i say that about.

I tried to play the first game and I couldn't get though it...Story was complete kiddy nonsense and the gameplay was whatever.

The modern mario games are kind of boring. I finished Super Mario 3D world and Odyssey and while they weren't bad games or anything I didn't see the wow factor.
