It was great to me. I can't find anything wrong with it. It was light. We don't always need these heavy ass drama filled movie about our accomplishments.
Stop hating on Black Excellence
You need to stop watering down "black excellence". Subject matter was great. Execution was mediocre to veering toward subpar.

And you here talking about "accomplishments" when the movie barely explored any of these accomplishments.

Serious question. What were you expecting going into the movie?

The I in Team
Movie got a nikka on misty eyed and shyt:mjcry:

These crackas stay trying to stifle black excellence, but it's just too much for them. We built this country and if that ain't enough we made it possible for motherfukkers to leave this planet. All with science and math. It's like Hov said: Men lie, women lie, numbers don't.

We invented math, only right we master it. I thought it was a great movie.....A positive film about overcoming cacs with knowledge and courage....

:dame:

Cut the bullshyt. Ya'll always take things too far.

And overcoming cacs with knowledge and courage? What the fukk did you watch? :what:

These women succeeded because their skills were NEEDED and INDISPENSABLE. And even with that said, they were still invisible until recently.

We did invent math, don't let the Jews and Wasps tell you otherwise. They overcame adversity with intelligence, logic, and bravery during the Jim Crow era. Seems like you are an undercover CAC or house negro if you can't get that message, either way the point went over your head...

Would a Tyler Perry Madea movie be more your speed?

How was the execution subpar? They worked with the actual women while making the film.
