I thought this thick older black woman owns that spot? Place is overrated as hell.

Yeah that's Peytin. She's co-owner. The head chef is the other co-owner, my uncle's frat. He came over from Batters and Berries which is also owned by another one of their frat.

Been there once. Placed an order online cuz they wouldn't answer the phone. Drove all the way down from Lincoln Park, wouldn't take the order confirmation from my phone, said I needed ID. Got my food, went home, and the order was messed up. And I couldn't call them. Wouldn't go back or recommend.

Dude I've served at a steakhouse Fridays and Saturdays for 4 years. Just being real.

But I liked serving Black tables more then white and it's not even close. White folks are way too passive aggressive, will smile and tell you everything was great, then leave a bad review or make a complaint.

Black tables were always my favorites. But that splitting check is real, and so time consuming, and usually the last table.

Personally, I’ll always tip a breh or brehette mad extra just because I know the bs they go through.

I’m talking about slipping a 20$ tip on a 15$ meal type shyt.

Some waiters are :mjpls: tho - you can tell the energy shift in comparison to other tables and they usually never come around. I still tip them, but not as much like 15%.

Sometimes I debate tipping them at all just because I know it won’t change their ways or make them treat the next black person with respect. But then I end up tip out of not “confirming” their bullshyt beliefs

large Asian parties, basically they share the food, then don't hang around for too along, and tip accordingly.

Black Males 30 and up, were the easiest to deal with. Always easy going, could joke around, no high maintenance shiit going. Never any drama

Rich White men who have fun and are a bit wacky. Moneywise that's the best table. They're fun, buy shiit ton off expensive liquor, order all types off crazy shiit. And they tip great as fukk. Only con, they might be in the restaurant damn near all night.

Hell, I've been out with 6-8 ppl and this was asked.


Yall be careful out there. They sometimes put us in situations hoping we react a certain way.
