Go out to eat and ask for the bill to be split into 25 separate checks brehs

It’s really not difficult at all to have separate checks. Not difficult to do and not difficult to bill. I’m sure it’s annoying though but it’s no different than every other day where 25 strangers occupy those seats and they ring up 25 separate checks. Patrons should’ve told them that from the start and the servers should’ve asked at the start.

I never do this, but I’m enjoying the hypocrisy of restaurant workers complaining about having to split a check in here but will go in other threads and act like tipping should be a given.

Yep. It's actually pretty easy to split bills with the pos systems restaurants use now. It just takes little longer so they are being lazy. At the end of the day the manager just should have split the bill and not cause a scene. Aint nothing cops gonna do cause they are offering payment in full. Restaurant gonna have to take it or let them go for free.

Lmao y’all sleep...It is difficult as hell to split the bills at the end of a meal when you dealing with 25 people and have 50-70 times you now have to break down per person lmao. That can add HELL OF TIME to your shift and time is money as a server as you trying to get folk in and out to move to the next bag coming in.

When you break it down from the beginning and have a system set up like a smart server would everything falls into place.

at my old job we all went out for dinner and everyone is ordering mad stuff. I requested my own server for my own tab. fukking bill was like 1100 dollars and everyone was debating it, me, on the other hand, paid my money, tipped my waitress and slid out.

When this happens I usually tell everyone give me cash plus like $5 and I'll charge to the card and leave the tips in cash

I think the complaint is about splitting the bill by what they order, not just splitting it evenly (or as directed) on multiple cards. I’m sure that’s a legit pain in the ass to try to decipher who ordered what, especially when apps are involved...but so what? Provide that excellent service.
