It’s really not difficult at all to have separate checks. Not difficult to do and not difficult to bill. I’m sure it’s annoying though but it’s no different than every other day where 25 strangers occupy those seats and they ring up 25 separate checks. Patrons should’ve told them that from the start and the servers should’ve asked at the start.
I never do this, but I’m enjoying the hypocrisy of restaurant workers complaining about having to split a check in here but will go in other threads and act like tipping should be a given.
Yep. It's actually pretty easy to split bills with the pos systems restaurants use now. It just takes little longer so they are being lazy. At the end of the day the manager just should have split the bill and not cause a scene. Aint nothing cops gonna do cause they are offering payment in full. Restaurant gonna have to take it or let them go for free.
