Yeah it gets distributed evenly so in this case each card would be charged $88. But in the video some of them was paying cash so yeah I can see where there can be issues
this happens a lot in my family when we all go out to eat, when someone isn't paying for a single bill (i.e. a birthday party or some other event)

i feel like usually on like mothers day, we all go out as a family, and it has to be split checks because some people got like 8 people in their family, some got 3 or 2, so when a single bill comes, drama ensues, calculators come out, arguments start up.

:wow:

it's a mess. that's why i always remind em to do split checks or at least tell the server my part of the families is. it's usually just me, my mom and my girl. ain't no reason we should be paying equal to everyone else.

when i go out with friends, its usually already acknowledged we getting separate checks amongst couples or whatever.

but older people in my family still tryna run game.

Brehs, the proper way to pay for a bill at a restaurant for parties of more than one person is for one person to cover the entire bill and have everybody else in attendence venmo their portions of the bill before you give the bill back to the waiter to be paid.

If you can't trust people to pay their portions stop breaking bread amongst people you can't trust.

If I was in that situation I’m using my shiny brand new Amex platinum and racking that 10x points on dining. Every single person there either handing me cash, cashapp, zelle, PayPal, Apple Cash wtf ever and if I’m short I’m parsing the receipt and calling bytches out in the group chat until they pay up :smugbiden:

Most restaurants here(New Orleans) tell you off top they don’t split checks.

there’s always that one group that try tho. It’s always out of towners

Okay what they did was triflin. I get that. Let's say they were there for two and a half hours. Who in here feels the server should get a $342 tip for serving a table for 2.5 hours? $133 an hour :hhh:

The Chefs that actually had to cook their food aren't even making that.

And to the ones that disagree:
Are you tipping housekeeping based on how much you paid for your room?

Are you tipping valet based on how much you paid for your car?

Ish is ridiculous

That's like $88 per person.

They can't be that broke.
Their financial reality does not align with their fantasy and imagination

You know they ALL have $500-1,000 cell phones

They ALL bragged about eating steak with the SQUAD

Reality hits and $80 becomes too much

The new generation is different.
