season 7 in particular had so much nonsense (still ing at littlefinger's death) that it was obvious season 8 was bout to be a disaster but if you said it publicly them rabid ass fans were on your ass sending death threats

GRRM could only give them outlines because he doesn't really plan ahead. But that's not an excuse because GRRM worked on the show If they wanted they could have gotten anything they wanted from him. There's no excuses for those dudes.

I wonder if that’s why he begged for additional seasons. That would give more time to flesh out the existing material and buy GRRM more time to come up with how to get to the ending. I’ve said before they had plenty of material to have gone multiple extra seasons just with what we saw. I could’ve lived with where the story ended up. My problem was simply with how they actually got there.

Bruh. She did WAY more nudity than anyone else on the show, especially main characters, and came to the realization that they were casually exploiting her even when it wasn't necessary. Especially as Cersei is supposed to be borderline sex crazed and part of her actual character is her number of sexual partners yet she wasn't doing the most like that because her actress knew how to regulate.

They were straight up taking advantage of EC because she was naive.

Why was it imparative she have titties out for a scene if it wasn't for Cersei? All HBO shows sell sex, and she realized she was the only person being asked to sell it of her stature.

You missed the point. If this was about just being faithful to the books then other characters would have had more nude scenes than they did, but they didn't. Why didn't they? Exactly.

They repeatedly made modest decisions with other actors and actresses (especially main ones) but had EC naked every time they could. She was the token sex appeal of the show until she caught on and it made her uncomfortable.

They’ll NEVER get the actors of Jon Snow, Tyrion, Arya, or Daenerys back. They’d have to offer them movie star figures for them to even consider it.


The ending is the ending. No matter how fukked up and nonsensical it was thats just the reality.

It is what it is. I've even accepted that it may very well be the ending for the books too. GRRM just has a different roadmap. He's going the scenic route. D&D took the shortcut. He said a long time ago that it will be a bittersweet ending.

Yeah, it would be nice to have the last 2 books, he is a very talented writer for the genre, imo, but i just don't give a fukk anymore. It was my most anticipated book for a long time, but now it's been replaced by at least 10 more series I want the next books in;

And the best part is that other than Rothruss, all the authors actually believe that they owe it to the fans to finish out stories. To anybody in here that really liked Song of Ice and Fire, please go read Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn by Tad Williams. He is easily my favorite Epic Fantasy author.

I'm just pointing out she's literally the most nude character in the story. She was nude more than the others for sure, but that's her character. She has no problem fukking and being nude in front of others. Cersei the only one I can see an argument for. Margery was nude. Jon was nude. Rob. All the others were kids.
