Still crazy too me that Thrones was basically everyday conversation for most and it’s basically NOT talked about anymore. It’s like most blanked that shyt out of their mind. The show runners really had HBO ready to give them a blank check to take however long to wrap this up right and they said nah:dead:

Still won’t forget the Night King breaking the wall and the 2 year wait for the final season for it be a rushed nonsensical mess :scust:

I really don’t even attempt to rewatch that show outta pure anger at that last season

I don't think more seasons was the issue, going 10+ seasons sounds good but like even GRRM said years back it would require everyone involved (cast, crew, etc) to commit a chunk of another decade and I'm sure they all wanted to move onto other things.

8 seasons was perfect, 13 episodes combined between 7 & 8 with the route they chose to take was where it became disastrous. Forcing themselves to conclude NK/Queen Cersei/Mad Daeny in 6 episodes was a WOAT decision unless all those stories were going to intertwine.

When did you start watching the series? Did you binge it straight through? Or did you follow along for YEARS week to week?
Binged season 1 and 2. Started season 3.

Only thing that’s cringe to me is Brann being King of the North:hhh:

I really don’t have disdain for the final season like most people

it doesn’t ruin the earlier seasons for me but seasons 7-8 absolutely were trash. The writing quality took an insane nosedive even from season 6 which dipped a bit too. I give season 6 a pass just for ending on two incredible episodes tho.

I could see that making sense if they fully fleshed out his third eyed Raven persona and took the night king to kings landing

They’ll NEVER get the actors of Jon Snow, Tyrion, Arya, or Daenerys back. They’d have to offer them movie star figures for them to even consider it.

The ending is the ending. No matter how fukked up and nonsensical it was thats just the reality.

They got the Justice League actors to come back in for Snyder cut reshoots, right? Never say never :mjcry:

I don't know if naive is the right word. She didn't have the resume to say no and have the studio say okay and stick with her because they needed a quality actress. EC wasn't exactly the strongest actor on the screen at any point if we're being honest. She simply looked the part. The Cersei actress could afford to say no, because she has the resume that says she's going to be more than just eye candy. Before they had Cersei do nothing but sip wine and sneer, she was one of the best parts of the show. EC is only interesting when she's telling her dragons to kill someone. She was carried through the entire series by playing off the talents of her more talented castmates. KH had the same problem-- that why their scenes together were so trash.

This is exactly what her character became :deadrose:
