I can't completely blame them though....all GRRM gave them was an outline of events to come. They weren't good enough and/or had writers good enough to fill in the details and we got what we got.

Yeah, it would be nice to have the last 2 books, he is a very talented writer for the genre, imo, but i just don't give a fukk anymore. It was my most anticipated book for a long time, but now it's been replaced by at least 10 more series I want the next books in;

And the best part is that other than Rothruss, all the authors actually believe that they owe it to the fans to finish out stories. To anybody in here that really liked Song of Ice and Fire, please go read Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn by Tad Williams. He is easily my favorite Epic Fantasy author.

I remember you and I were asking what happened to the snow in King's Landing they showed in season 7.

People were like

"it was gonna snow but then it didn't, weather changes all the time."

It's like....this ain't The Weather Channel. People are writing the show and apparently forgot it was supposed to snow in a key location.

As far as GRRM not finishing the books or not giving them new material, honestly that's irrelevant.

Some of the best reviewed/fan received eps aren't book material. "The Door", "Hardhome", "The Winds Of Winter", etc.

The writers just stopped giving a fukk. It's as simple as that.

Yeah, I recall reports coming out that both Kit Harrington and Emilia Clarke didn't like how the story ended up being written. I also remember an article where Emilia said she felt exploited earlier in the show with her nude scenes... so you may be on to something. I think a lot of the actors on the show did not fukk with the direction the showrunners took the last season.

Work on an HBO show and expect not to reach HBO's 2 titty 1 dikk qouta per episode.

Kind of glad HBO nudity thing is a lot less forced tho.
