Ghaddafi was not a great man in any stretch of the imagination. To say the Libyans were virtually all happy to be under the rule of a man who was a dictator is an incredibly stupid statement.

Like @Ghostface Trillah mentioned, compare Libya then and Libya now. It's a complete 180 for the worse. Country is destabilized and NATO and the US basically washed their hands from the whole thing, as if they had nothing to do with it.
