That shouldn't have mattered. Starfield was in development since 2015, years before Bethesda got purchased.
People thought since it was already announced pre-purchase of Bethesda that it would still launch on Playstation. I mean y'all are also saying MSFT out of the goodness of their heart won't do things like that and use Minecraft as an example yet now suddenly they're making the next game exclusive?
Same train of thought applies to Minecraft legends; Mojang was purchased back in 2014 yet their latest game is still coming to Playstation and Minecraft isn't some small game, it's WAY bigger than Starfield or Elder's Scrolls. It's not crazy to think good guy MSFT would do that. Hell, it contradicts the often-used talking point of "MSFT doesn't care about console sales, they just want to drive up Gamepass!" If that were actually true, Starfield wouldn't have skipped Playstation because according to the logic displayed in this thread a game for "Free" on Gamepass >>>>>$70 on Playstation.
