The meat quality of a well done steak is not the same as one ordered more rare; you are playing yourself something serious if you operate otherwise

lmao that steak doesn't even look seasoned or buttered. I like my steak well done but not dried out.

Months ago I had 2 steaks ready to cook. Accidentally cooked it for too long. Came out well done. Only chewed one piece before throwing both of them out

I'm ashamed of myself.

I used to call well done because i wanted it "cooked thoroughly" until i realized that rare is the lowest safe cooking temperature. Medium rare for me. I feel like steak supposed to be juicy or you not really gone get the most enjoyment out of it. That's when you have to rely on butter and sauces for moisture. Steak by itself is sposed to be moist and flavorful enough to not need all that
