Last Of Us story looks like its gonna be on some boring Gears Of War shyt

Last of Us has the same basic premise as Bioshock Infinite, Guy escorts girl through dangerous situations. It also has the same voice actor for the main character and we already know Naughty Dog's experience at telling stories.

right now I've only played Bioshock so it gets the nod but from what I've seen of Last of Us it may be close.

How does that game even remind you of Gears of War?? There was hardly any heavy shooting in any of the gameplay demo's we've seen thus far.

just started that ish and getting my ass handed ...sigh...what i found out is that the vigors you barely use in normal/hard mode are essential..CC is king..bronco is absolutely a must..and skylines are essential too

if GTA could come up with a story and characters as good as Bioshock Infinite it would be a wrap.

i highly doubt it though...i think gta stories are kind of overrated even though they have some of the doppest and humanized characters in gaming..the storylines always take a backseat

I read a person said that the key to beating 1999 mode is to do as little actual fighting as possible as use the environment/tears/possession to take heat off you.

Also said bucking bronco+shotgun is a must. Another said to keep the sniper rifle on you as much as possible.

In all honesty breh i find 1999 mode to be wayy easier than Hard mode...this is basically because of the fact that i already know the areas and i approach each fight with patience...possession trap is key for clearing out large number of enemies that are in the same area.. i cleared out that ritual section in the fraternity of ravens with just one use of possession trap shyt is useful as fukk

I am at the section when youre headed to comstock house and i have died less than 20 times in total on 1999 mode

Been staying out of this thread just finished the game tho...I thought it was great overall...I only spend money on a couple of games a year and this was def worth the 60$. As far as game of the generation and all that? Not for me simply cause of the fact I always value gameplay over everything else and that was def the weakpoint of this game. Even Bioshock 1 and 2 shyt on it gameplay wise. Too many useless weapons/vigors and gears. No real character progression system. Enemies are boring and repetitive...not enough memorable fights. But as far as atmosphere, setting and story? Yea its probably the best game ever made in those aspects.

The key to beating her is murder of crows traps and the carbine or sniper rifle. She fukked me up like 4 times until I used the crows to keep her minions away.
