They were kind of second banana to Goosebumps. The thing I always remember about those books was the art.

I saw this on some promo truck during Comic Con, and watched the whole trailer, so the marketing worked, because I'll see this, absent of any terrible reviews. I read all those books in elementary school, and even co opted/ one into a short story in 6th grade. Some of those stories were really unnerving as a kid, but it was really the visuals that accompanied it. I actually liked Del Toro's produced 2011 'Afraid of the Dark".

Aint never heard of this shyt.

If it wasn't Goosebumps, it didn't get play in the whip :unimpressed:

The Scary Story books were a lot darker and scarier than the Goosebumps books. Granted they were only three books made, but they consisted of a compilation of multiple short stories. I guaranteed you the stories in those books will still creep you the fukk out, especially the "Bloody Mary" one or the Bed By The Window".

When do reviews for this drop? I need to know the consensus on this before buying tickets

My daughter loves scary stuff so I asked her about it and she was like, :picard: I dunno if I’m ready yet.
