I’m watching it now and I’m lowkey pissed off.
shyt should’ve just came out on Netflix. These kids keep doing the same stupid stereotypical bullshyt (sneak into a haunted house, take shyt that doesn’t belong to you, get haunted by said stupid shyt).
Even the deaths are wack af. I didn’t realize it was PG-13 until after the first death (which was wack).

I get what you saying, but again this movie is based off of children books. No way they were going to make it rated R. But they still had space to make it a lil more darker though.

I wish i had known. shyt was definitely for tween kids. Me and my girl walked out.
This is a bad movie. It's worst sin isn't not being scary, it is not even being engaging on a Scream 4 sequel level. The thing is, this would have been so good, as an anthology, maybe film in half black and white, or very grainy like Death Proof, and just do 5 of the classic short stories. There is this backstory that is neither interesting nor convincing, when all the material needs is a classic handling and good promo. I know better than to see a movie like this, but I thought it would be like bland, mildly enjoyable horror. It was hard not to just leave after the first 20 minutes or so.

only reason i didn't go to see it yesterday cuz i got caught up at work....now i'm thinkin of just makin it another flick for my couch...

Consider this, Goosebumps from 2011 or whatever did this same exact concept better, or at least it was a more enjoyable kids horror film.

Seen this a few days ago.I enjoyed it
. It's strangers things like more so than a "real" horror so don't expect anything too crazy. If you're bored on a slow day it's worth watching.
