Practical effects for the win

Practical effects were cool

It was the fact that it wasn’t scary.

When i saw the way the first dude died i was like

Then i went on my phone and checked Fandango and saw it was PG-13 and immediately realized what i was in for.

Dumb bytch in the glasses kept doing every single thing you’re not supposed to do in a horror flick.

Goosebumps was probably better honestly. At least it was more entertaining with likable kids. I guess because I actually expected this to be scary i’m more disappointed. If i had the proper expectations I wouldn’t have walked out.

I enjoyed it. The movie being PG-13 kept my expectations low and it ended up being better than what I was anticipating. It actually inspired me to come up with a writing idea.

I remember the books but never really read them; think I did own one. I was more into Goosebumps (SSTTITD is the better movie IMO) when I actually did read.

It’s better than most PG-13 horrors tho.

it was a mid movie if I recall correctly
