That’s actually not true.
Part two for both Silver Snow and Verdent Wind is the exact same except the final map, Silver snow skips the month when the blood of the eagle and lion battle occurs and the characters in the cutscenes differ.
Also iirc the first 5 maps of Azure Moon in part two is the same as verdent wind. But after that Azure Moon branches off and becomes unique.
Crimson Flower is the only route that is 100% unique in part two.

Maddening is just ridiculous
I rarely used combat arts in my first run throughs, now I NEED them shyts
Yea maddening imo is actually challenging unlike hard. With that being said you kind have to optimize your units. Since you will always be under leveled. Also you have ambush spawns which allow reinforcements to move and attack even if they appeared during the enemey’s phase.
If you want tips let me know the difficulty when playing this difficulty for the first time can be very overwhelming.

i finally beat the first play through, black eagles normal route, only one character died in the last fight and wasnt bothered trying to rewind.
Married Shamir Pretty yet handles her business.
Thankfully i have a another save where i was able to do the eldegarrd route choice, i need to see why se did what she did
..but i will start it up on the weekend, need a quick break.

I did the black eagles run through, the church, and played half way into the gold deer.
I’d probably have finished every playthrough on top of the dlc if it wasn’t for the forced sim parts. it’s ok the first time but by the 2nd playthrough that shyt is unbearable. Having these forced tea parties and shyt is wild annoying.
I hope if they do another game soon they figure out a way to make the sim parts more streamlined and engaging.

I feel you, that is why i take breaks and have other games to tackle in the mean while. So when the itch comes i just go ahead and scratch it. lol. Need to cop the DLC on friday to see what's up.
I mean the first playthrough was only 41 hrs, which for RPG standars, specially the ones i have played is on the short side.
But the latter battles towards the end were just tedious, not necessarily difficult but tedious

Those who have eyes to see this is just the roman catholic church vs the european kings/ houses
The roman beast anyway the eldegard route looks it should be the correct pathway cuzz i was always suspicious of the two that were leading the " church"

finished two 1/2 paths.
the life sim really brings this game all the way down. It's ok the first time through but holy shyt having to sit through tea parties and give items to people is the most excruciating shyt ever. Game without the life sim is a 9 with it it's like a 7 the first time and a 5 or 6 every time after.
