People have too much time on their hands. Aren't these characters under 18? Not touching that link.

I'm a few chapters away from finishing my 3rd playthrough. I played Golden Deer at launch, Blue Lions a few months later, and now I'm finishing up with the Black Eagles. Will probably finished with about 250hrs total playtime. This is probably my second all-time favorite game on Switch next to Smash:ohlawd:

Interesting playing the game from this angle although I did feel some type of way about killing all my favorite Golden Deer characters. Black Eagle Strike Force out here SLAUGHTERING the ops:sadcam:

Also a ton of the voice actors had roles in Persona 5 as well. Hubert & Akechi are the same guy, Morgana/Sothis, Kasumi/Catherine, and Ferdinand/Dr.Maruki are all done by the same people

It really is great for multiple playthroughs spaces apart. Each of my playthroughs were at least 4-5 months apart and it always feels familiar yet fresh with a new house.

Plus you get to relive the good ol childhood days with the happy Monestsry music for the first few chapters before shyt hits the fan :sadcam:

Your "there's times you wanna punch your eyes out" description of it earlier in this thread put me off on it :skip:

I recruited Contance, Balthus, & Hapi then Lysithea & Mercedes for their Paralogs with some of the Black Eagles and grabbed Jeritza of course but I wanted to keep my overall unit count low so I don't have to worry about maintaining so many. Lindhardt hasn't sniffed the battlefiend since his school days while everyone else is at or near their master classes:pachaha:

I almost ended up with way too many mages but Byleth, Edleguard, Balthus, Jeritza, Petra, & Clause are all pretty good and put the beats on just about anybody. Other than Dark Knight Hubert & Dancer Dorothea I pretty much just swap out the other mages for mobility/partiular situations and stack the rest as adjutants. At this point every unit gets used in battle...except Lindhardt:pachaha:

I like Ferdinand & Mercedes as characters but both of them ultimately developed into some mid in this playthough:martin:. My Blue Lion Mercedes was nice doe:ehh:

Yea that sounds about right. But after you get past the 3rd mission it becomes much more manageable in maddening. Granted you do need to be more strategic. You can't just put your best out in the open by themselves since all the enemies will always be higher level than you. (Well technically in my last playthrough which I did for Silver Snow I did make Yuri into the ultimate dodge tank so it is still possible, on that note evasion tanks >>>>> bulky tanks). The challenge made it worth it for me. The problem with hard difficulty is that once you get rolling the game becomes pretty easy.

With that being said the final map on Silver Snow is 100% bullshyt. :martin:

Don't sleep on Lindhart he is probably the best support unit in the game. Sure his damage output isn't the greatest, but I just left him as a Bishop and he did enough for me.
But Ferdinand is one of the best characters once you get Swift Strikes he becomes goated :wow:
Literally the only Black Eagle units who are better are Edelgard and Petra. Although Bernie is really good too. Bows in this game are overpowered.

Am on my first playthrough with the eagle house, chapter 11 . Are the other 2 house story lines different to warrant multiple playthroughs? Am assuming just the first half would be similar

But so far game is crack..3 hrs feel like 1:mjlol::francis:

Yeah it’s worth playing multiple times, especially with some time between. First portion of the game is somewhat similar but the different characters make it interesting. The second halves of each path are dramatically different
