Lots of games have great black representation. Not even sure what you are talking about here.
Of course you are ok with some very problematic depictions of black folks being such a fan of Japanese culture. But other people aren’t “begging” or wrong for asking for change.

Wild hearts a game I'm playing now has a great spread of different races and is clearly a Japanese game in a fantasy Japanese era.
Infact one of the main story characters is randomly a black woman.
The fact there isn't a single FF game that can or has done this is pretty sad.

A lot? I wouldn't say that, but 2 of the 8 playable characters were black or dark skinned and about 15 to 20 percent of the the population of each town or area was dark or black.

I think you guys have a misunderstanding of what i’m talking about.
It doesn’t have to be “black stories” or black lead characters etc. Sure you want that stuff to be written and handled by black people. Although there are some very good recent examples of this that’s not what i’m talking about.
I’m talking about in a game like final fantasy where the devs go out of their way to erase black skin. This used to be the norm. Most devs aren’t doing that anymore. I wouldn’t expect Final Fantasy to have some deep story about a black family from Harlem, but i would expect the people depicted in the game to be as diverse as humanity is outside the game. Most games are doing much better at this. Some aren’t.

I'm over it. FF is an overrated franchise with an empty ass plot that ended up making sense as a MMO that will never get it's due outside the niche market. The same people expecting FF to turn flips on black characters are the same folks that bytch about Kingdom Come having not a black person in sight, despite the fact that the dev team are in the whitest part of the atmosphere.
I just wish, for once in our natural lives...that we put all the money into the pot and make an AAA game to stick it to these companies. I'm tired of black devs being thrown pocket change to make the WOAT video games in existence (I'm over the indie approach).
These CEOs need to take it to the industry. No more of this begging shyt.
