Every episode of that "#blackAF" show (Netflix) is titled "because of slavery"

This show is funny so far. Im 2 episodes in and Kenya moves like a coli poster.

Repeatedly says he hates whites but continually fukks with them
Stunts every minute of his life but hates stereotypes
Smart dumb nikka rants that nearly make sense
Questions whether or not he is a c00n
6 figures gang
can you provide a suggestion as to how black men can compete without somehow relying on whites?

That's one way too look at it... But more then likely it's just an insult. Reparations won't come in our lifetimes they just rubbing salt in the wound

If we want anything done for us, we have to do it ourselves. Get our people in office. Invest in Africa.

For as much trolling and shytposting that happens in the coliseum it is nothing compared to TLR. You are speaking to deaf ears, once their minds are made up and the herd is going down that direction nothing is going to stop it.

looks a a few posters said the show was decent, I’ll check it out

Lol they just talking what’s not real about that?

that looks normal to you? that arrangement?

a tragic mulatto, a black man, and two lily white folks sitting at a table having conversation in a fancy restaurant?

how accurate is this to black life where the majority of us have lost jobs due to this pandemic and don't know enough white people to get jobs back or confer in these kinds of environments?:hhh:

you nikkas need to stop using extreme outliers to define black life.:martin:

it's like y'all refuse too accept our position in society as an underclass. this is what allows cacs and these other groups to leap-frog off of any grassroots movements we create.

our refusal to accept that we have it worse than anyone else, and it isn't our fault.

you can only challenge your position once you understand it.

you can literally go to the wiki page and see that besides him there are no black writers.
That's an absolute fukking lie.

Kenya Barris is the creator/producer/showrunner and clearly the vision behind every episode, and is also the sole writing credit for Episodes 1 and 2
16blackaf-mobileMasterAt3x-v3.jpg

Esa Lewis is the co-writer for Episode #3

Doug Hall is the sole writing credit for Episode #4

Allison McDonald is the sole writing credit for Episode #6

The white writers you posted only have 2 writing credits and 2 half-credits between them (for 3, 5, 7, and 8). At least some of them already wrote for Kenya before in Black-ish and Grown-ish and are clearly just workers following his vision, you tried to make it out like it was a white-written program when the whole shyt was put together by a Black Producer/Director/Showrunner/Writer/Star who only hired white writers as half of his subordinate positions.

Is this show supposed to be a reflection of the majority of black life?

The show is based on his life, a rich black man with a bi-racial wife and kids dealing with Hollywood life.

Looks like u trying to define black life. The show don’t represent all black people. No show has or ever will because they are for entertaining.

:dahell: the pandemic got to do with this show

You think he wrote this shyt during the pandemic, then got it filmed, edited, and produced in two weeks? :stopitslime:

Breh, he's a rich motherfukker writing a show about his own life. He's a Black man born in Inglewood and educated at Clark Atlanta who made it big and got a nine-figure bank account now, rich enough that he can make shyt exactly how he wants to make it. It is what it is.
