How does this limit free speech? "Social accountability" is also free speech. You want to say some out of pocket shyt, stand on your square. If you're looking to limit free speech by introducing social accountability, just say that's what you want.

If you even hear the Russian language, you might spontaneously combust. You continue to reveal exactly who you are with this type of personal attack. If you don't think some people aren't smart enough to be exposed to certain information without becoming radicalized, that's your opinion. I'm just pointing out that it's bigoted.
Fine by me.such a policy doesn't "limit" speech as much as it leads to people self-limiting what they'll say. Same outcome nonetheless.
Yea and for the record I’m not about to be out here defending twitters policies. To your point they banned me for calling Brent musberger a racistTwitter removing Trump arbitrarily for me is a big problem but BUT BUT if you agree with the move for whatever reason, that’s fine. I’m not gonna die on that hill. However Twitter banning nikkas for “homophobia” or “Transphobia” when a quick search of the phrase black men brings up the most horrific racism imaginable is truly hypocritical.
Is Elon musk gonna do anything to satisfy my demands on this? No. But did he inadvertently raise an interesting debate about censorship? Of course. I’m not even a free speech weirdo I actually support censoring things just not censoring political speech it should be protected and the other side should be presented.
People becoming more conscious of the things they say and how it affects people isn't a bad thing. A more civil society is good. Still, it's not like it's the government kicking down your door and telling you what you can't or cannot say, so I don't get all this DEATH OF FREE SPEECH!!! whining.such a policy doesn't "limit" speech as much as it leads to people self-limiting what they'll say. The agenda is 100% the upholding of white supremacy and systematic racism. So it's safe to assume all of this is by design. I don't have a problem with sensor ship if its across the board. What I have a problem with is selective sensor ship. Which usually points to a narrative/agenda trying to get pushed.
Most of the coli would be banned for the things they post on hereunmoderated sites are shytty unless you're racist.
I dont get it they not gonna let him buy twitter outright, he has enough money to build his own fukk it
Yes, they do ban you. What would happen if you sent a company wide email at Telsa calling Musk a fakkit?
Exactly
mofos only want the free speech they agree with. I heard if you go on Fox News or Breitbart sites talking trash about Trump they quick to ban you too. shyt is a farce
And all of that took place on these same sites under this same system. So whats gonna be different?I am sick of these free speech absolutists. For someone who'd I'd assume would have more insight into humanity as a whole, Elon is a very silly minded individual. Humanity doesn't have the moral nor cognitive development for what Elon wants.
We've already seen a glimpse of what unlimited free speech can do to human society. It brought us Donald Trump, incels, COVID 19 conspiracies, Q-Anon, continued climate change denial, continued Republican/Far-Right information silos etc. All the worse elements of human toxicity is magnified and leads to terrible outcomes by these social media platforms.
