Yeah, this is all part of the plan: destroy/completely remove and not revamp or improve.

Basically a big paywall for a decent education now (some private schools).

Reminder that a lot of private schools are actually horrible as well, so some low-tier private schools about to see a lot of money roll in because it's at least a little better than public education, but not even close to worth the money.

Basically another big move to destroy the middle class: more separation between the haves (those who can afford) and have nots.

Might as well design/develop your kids with your own curriculum at this point. I don’t have kids, but always wondered why the teaching stopped outside of the classroom. Everything is a classroom, your kids should always be learning something from you. Thats how I was raised and didn’t appreciate it until I was literally out on my own, solo dolo on the other side of the planet did I learn to appreciate shyt.

Problem is, people don’t value an education.

Even myself felt like College was some bullshyt, why not make it free if you want the best and brightest. I have admittingly said if you don’t got shyt going on in life at first as a young man (or woman), go to a trade school and learn a skill that will immediately make you valuable in society.

BUT I did feel like college should be something/somewhere you go to get a HIGHER level of education. Honestly, the politics and bullshyt in college is why I never finished my first degree. I did get my second though, only because I burnt out of doing remedial college shyt and just skipped ahead.

The DOE exist to keep segregation from happening. It allowed the federal government to monitor schools in the state. With it gone we’ll see a push for charter schools that continue to be used to reintroduce segregation across the country.

They are trying to claim that policies aimed at addressing centuries of systemic racism and discrimination through programs and policies that center Black people are actually discriminatory against white people. In other words, "reverse racism" towards whites.

Idk if it’s been asked already. But how will states get funding for education? Will it be population based? More kids in the state = more money for education? Who is going to reign in these racist states?

My kid is going to be starting kindergarten when trumps term ends and, if these education changes actually happen, we are going to have to put him in private school.

Maybe. Republicans love handing stuff to private entities though.

But remember Republicans want a cheap labor force. High interest loans means more people will choose to go to trade schools at a younger age.

Nothing wrong with trade jobs. But the reason most of our ancestors wanted a better education for their kids was so they would have more options.

Actually yes. They mention this in that video I posted about the Nebraska school system. They had several instances of fly by night schools that were bare bones and didn't mean accreditation standards, lure a bunch of people with promises of an education and dip once they got their money

I’m guessing it will be taxation base. The same way Lottery money is taxed to pay for schools.

California, New York, Texas can probably be self sustaining because of their large tax base from population and job types.

I don’t know how states like Arkansas or West Virginia can cover it with such spread out schools in need of service.
