Still got to finish Demon Souls Remake, caught it on sale last month.

The Breath of the Wild comparisons always miss the mark, because it seems like people don’t understand what makes Breath of the Wild’s open world so appealing.
ya I don’t think I’m gonna put too much stock in those comparisons
BOTW comparisons are leading me to pass. With those type of games I usually play for a while and then just stop, never to revisit them. When I can do anything I always feel like I’m playing the game wrong. I start questioning shyt such as, if I get to an area and die is it because I suck or was I not supposed to go to that area yet? Only part of the game I really liked was the shrine joints and that’s primarily because they had focused objectives.

I have no doubt this game is great but I’m taking these scores with a grain of salt. FromSoftware has cultivated one of the most fanboyish audiences out there.
Does Elden Ring even have platforming or puzzles?
I’m not sure how it could give one of the greatest senses of discovery ever without that
