Yeah in hawkeye he would speak to her using sign language, Never had anybody around helping them translate shyt to each other. Then in this show they put a thing in her eye, and she complains to him at one point that he never bothered learning sign language. And they had an intrepreter helping them communicate at certain points too.

This was good. I still don't know how I feel about the changes, but as I mentioned, she's recently been a Phoenix Force host, so....

I think they built a nice arc for her. She's a killer, and full of rage like her comic counterpart, and in both there was something to soften her up. They've done more with her than maybe 50 comic book appearances and cameos have done to develop this character. I still think they put too much emphasis on the origins of her tribe, but it did have somewhat of a payoff.

I like how her family were just doing what they do to survive, without harping too much on it. They were hustlers and some also in bed with Kingpin, but they made a point in showing how they dealt with life everyday.

There is 0 reason to hate this show.

I was legit confused when they started acting like kingpin didn't understand sign language, he was speaking it fine in Hawkeye. Zero interpreters in that show.

echo and her cousin really didn’t talk too much to each other in the whole show except when they were held hostage.

Just found it weird especially at the end when they gave themselves weird looks .

I thought this was garbage. Probably because they rushed things along so much to fit everything into 5 episodes. Could have fleshed it out more with an extra 3-5.

But she didn't even have a redemption arc. Just all of a sudden she's a superhero, but only because someone worse than she showed up.

She fukked up a lot of shyt for a lot of people, killed people, and got her loved ones hurt, while never actually making amends with any of them, then at the end, everything was just all good because Native Girl Magic!

I think they're gonna go with a variation of this too. Devil's Reign, Shadowland, Secret Empire's end, and the current Gang War combined to form the next street level story

I heard she beatdown Kingpin at the end. Imo no street level hero should be able to square up with Kingpin and win without some very particular circumstances involved; he's like a street level Thanos. Even someone like Daredevil should barely be able to do it even with some luck involved. Did they at least set it up in Echo?
