No are you serious...of course we're genetically different from felines and other animals. The point is that those respective animals have been around long enough that they've developed immunity through evolution to many of these afflictions. How come we humans, who have walked besides them, consumed them, haven't?

Is it because we've only been around a few thousand years? Using evolution as being accurate, our ancestors should have endured the same type pandemics other species have on this planet and passed down immunity to us.
