The shyt is so ingrained even the “woke” games get it wrong.

The only real answer is to hire and consult a wide variety of people when you are making the game.

If sucker punch can read study and consult Japanese people and culture enough to make a culturally accurate and respectful game set in japan, then any of these other dev studios could put some reasonable black people in their games. They chose not to.
