so each episode isn't self-contained on Daredevil? How isn't that bad TV making if doing the same in movies is bad movie making?

Bad films exist in and out of shared universes.

Those films in particular though suffered precisely BECAUSE they wrote in the world building and fukked up the pace of the films.

And like i said Civil War and Winter Soldier were great due to the additional world building aspects. It goes both ways.

Not all comics are structured this way though. In fact the majority are not.

Yes team ups and cross overs and such happen but self contained stories are abundant. And they are better for it.

I felt like phase 1 of the MCU was more self contained. Now it's starting to feel gimmicky trying to shove every character in every movie.

What happened to just a well done villain and plot for 1 hero?

Bvs shoe horned a bunch of shyt in and was a worse film for doing so.

I guess it all boils down to personal tastes

Back in the days when superhero movies were first made, a shared universe wasn't even considered, but I personally like the idea of things being connected (I'm a bit of a continuity junkie - for example, I thought Avengers EMH got worse when it strayed away from serialization and did more self contained episodes in its second season)

BvS was but that was because of the writing, as was Asm2 I feel, I don't recall any shoehorning in IM2. I don't think universe building ruins movies,I think bad writing ruins movies.

I would say why would you want to improve them? This is a business, they make these movies to make money. transformers is accomplishing that and pleasing someone, maybe not me. But everything doesn't have to be made to my liking. I can accept some things aren't made for me but still successful in their own right.

You seem to not understand the difference between a season of a television show with one arc and 12 movies all with their own stories and heros.

If you can't tell the difference in story telling between a season of a TV show and 12 separate films I'll never be able to explain it to you because you have some type of disability.
