It seemed like when he was talking to himself at the beginning that he was doing two different accents and one was trying to sound like Tom Baker as well.

Dude, I just rewatched that scen and the shyt is mindblowing.

Like he really stretched out and flexed his fingers beforehand and then touched his face like " a physical body." It makes me think back to the beginning of "Listen", when he's talking to himself and screamed "WHAT WOULD YOU DO!?".... he realized the chalk was on the floor and "Listen" was written on the chalkboard.....

but he was the only one there.

And since he was in the TARDIS, you were certain that he was the only one there.


and yeah. Clara is beautiful. Top 3 looks wise.

I was just explaining to somebody not too long ago the draw of Doctor Who, his companions and the show's female viewership.

Not only does a human companion give the viewers someone to relate to in the midst of all this time travelling alien universe shyt,

You have women living a boring, ordinary life.... then all of the sudden this ultra smart, quirky, dashing and totally unique dude with all the answers shows up and swoops you up to take you other wheres and whens, he's also very dark, brooding and angsty and full of unknowable depth.... the only time you're not seeing something new and exciting and dangerous is when you're asleep.

what woman wouldn't go for that sort of wish fufillment!?

I just realized that The Doctor was offhandedhy joking with Clara that he let all the rest of those folks blow up and them being on that planet was his cover story.....

We never saw those passengers again.

Just the dude he found interesting.

This past episode was really good. I liked Clara getting to be The Doctor for a day and the Boneless were a cool/creepy villain.
Next ep looks good too and they are finally getting Danny Pink involved in their adventures.

Yeah, I got the feeling he was actually telling her the truth but let her think it was just him using dark humor. I won't believe he really saved them until we see proof of the other passengers. I hope this is explored later on. I read a review for 'Flatline' where there was speculation that "Gus" is connected to Missy.
