the irony is, as someone who's deeply familiar with the lore in all it's types, you kinda get tired of hoping and theorizing that the Big Bad is somebody from Classic Who/the extended universe.

I think we were all focused on Susan cause they halfway played it up and she stay getting referenced. But after the reveal, the shyt was so obvious, right there in our faces (if you know the bad guy)

Guess this is how The Toymaker felt when he didn't catch that ball.

My issue with a lot of big Who events is like comic events from the last decade plus, everything is big and great until they try to figure out how to end it. Where you go from How the fukk can they fix this? to oh it's done?

First season was okay. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. I bought the second season on Blu-ray, but I never watched it.

They also showed a new Doctor Who At The Proms & Partick Troughton's regeneration story 'The War Games' in colour and cut down (heavily) like they did for 'The Daleks' last year over the Xmas week. If anyone outside the UK would like to see them then let me know and I'll upload them.

I skimmed through TWG and it was a bit of a joke. They make these edits to bring in younger viewers. Utterly baffling considering at 4 years old I was utterly glued to the Pertwee era re-runs. This version puts the Master's theme over most scenes the War Chief appears in. It's been a bit of a fan theory that they are the same character for probably 50 years but not a popular one. Add in some ropey CGI, new series Doctors and a proper regeneration scene from Troughton to Pertwee which seems to be near-identical to one lifted from Youtube and it's what's known as a big slice of 'fanwank'.

But happy to upload it regardless haha.
