The 50 mill isn't the problem. The problem is Disney's reputation with Star Wars that will cost them billions of dollars in potential revenue.

When it comes to Star Wars, Disney is fukking up in ALL departments that made it a global phenomenon.

Movies: 4 Movies in and not even breaking even on Solo. Dividing the fanbase and making people uninterested in Star Wars.

Merchandise: Toy sales have plummeted since TFA.

Video Games: Battlefront sold reasonably well but is dying in part to the loot box fiasco which Disney had to step in and try to set things straight because it was causing so much bad press. Add to the fact that Disney gave EA - The most hated video game developer of all time the exclusive rights to ALL future star wars games.

This is literally how you kill a hit franchise. Don't get me wrong, Star Wars will continue on for a long time but the way things are now it will never be MOVIE EVENT status like it used to be.

Once you've sown doubt into people's minds about your product its nearly impossible to get them back on board 100%.

And trust me they know this.

If their gonna sweat bullets about something, that right there would do it. Lotta TFA, Ro, TLJ stuff clogged up aisles and went on clearance..
