I read the numbers over at a box office site. They are estimating at least a $100M loss on this. And The Last Jedi's toy sale figures were way lower than expected too. Disney has seriously fukked up Star Wars.

Not really, which makes it even worse.
They put a "female" droid in there who claims Lando wants to bone her and says it would technically be possible, that's it. The rest is just Lando swagging calling people "baby" and I think he calls Han, who has a shower scene with Chewie, adorable once.
They also have the "female" droid telling LANDO that SHE wants equal rights.

i was at a comic book store and overheard some parents and kids talking about solo and the parents agreed it was ok at best but the kids really enjoyed it. this had me thinking maybe star wars isn't for me or the adults who grew up with it. it's clearly shifting focus and moving the story to a new direction.

You don't see adults taking things their kids are growing up with and ruining them. We should make a R rated Phineas and Ferb and completely destroy the plot. Star Wars is for old nikkas, and if young people want to join the wave then they gotta like what we want.
